We have only one week left before leader training starts, and a week and a half before you all show up in Gainesville for some crazy preparation for this amazing summer in Uganda! Is everyone ready?

I've been consuming an unhealthy amount of food, coffee, and skittles in the past few days, and I've been running around like a mad man around Cartersville, GA for our World Race training camp, in order to prepare 130 men and women to launch into the nations this summer for a year. It's a bit crazy and a lot hectic, but it's amazing to see so many people willing to leave their comfortable couches and beds to see God move throughout the world. It's a lot of work to keep camp running with this many people, but at the end of the day when I'm laying down to sleep, I get such good rest because I know The Lord is in this. Please be praying for all of these men and women as they prepare their hearts for what God has in store for them.

My facebook status said a while ago "I'm not ready for Uganda, but SO ready for Uganda." As you all know, there's a lot of stuff you have to do to prepare to leave the country for 2 months. All the stuff you have to pack, all the paperwork you have to fill out, all the prep work... It can be exhausting! And then to have to finish out your job among all of that can throw a lot on your plate.

But one thing I've been able to do in the past few days while running around training camp is to put some of my focus on Uganda and our team. And I'm getting super stoked to get going. Audrey and I got together last week to pray some for our team and our ministry, and I tell you, we're expecting some crazy stuff! We know that God wants to do some wild stuff in you all, and we hope you are just willing to say "Yes, Lord!"

Sometimes in the midst of all the stuff we have to get done we can lose sight of what it's all about. We can get wrapped up in all the details and situations and forget that we're in it because God told us to get into it. And it's really easy to listen to those lies the enemy puts in our heads that "there's too much to get done," "we're not prepared for this," "maybe we were never meant to get into this in the first place..." But we need to think back to that moment and remember when we first signed up: God has called you to this.

All the time I'm looking at my various to-do lists and thinking "this will never happen." Insurance, transportation, student loans, what's next? But when I stop for a second and think back to that moment when I said "I'll lead the Real Life Uganda team," I remember that it was The Father that prompted me to sign up. It was The Father that said, "I have big things in store for you." It was The Father that said, "You will do greater things than My Son, Jesus Christ."

So why in the world am I doubting? I need to continually put faith in The Father, that He will take care of what needs to happen, I just need to do what He calls me to. I don't have a clue how 2 + 2 is going to end up as 4. But God said put them together and see what happens. So I need to trust that God is going to do His part and make this happen.

I am beyond excited for this trip with all of you, and I believe that God is going to shake the nation of Uganda in a mighty way through all of you. Don't lose sight of what your Father has called you to.

Pray that God will make all of this happen, and walk in the next week and a half with faith that your prayer will be answered.

Father, Thank You for calling us to be a part of Your Kingdom. Thank You that Your grace gives us the opportunity to rise out of our fears, doubts, and insecurities and into our courage, faith, and confidence in You. We know You have asked us to do some crazy things in our lives, and we put our faith in Your Words and in Your Love. We pray for abundance, health, strength, and energy as You go out with us in Uganda. We pray these things in the Name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
