 Howdy ya'll,

I'm Travis Simnitt from Katy, TX. I just turned 19 on this past 19th. I currently go to Texas A&M in Galveston and am transferring to the main campus next fall. I'm in the corps of cadets and am studying pre-vet to become a large animal veterinarian. I was in FFA for 4 years in high school and raised both pigs and rabbits. I was an officer all 4 years and loved every second of it. I was also a captain of my wrestling team in high school.  I'm the oldest of three. I have two little sisters that I absolutely love and am so protective of. I have two labs; one yellow the other is black.

I have a real heart for children. For the past few years I've been a camp counselor over the summers and do the VBS through my church. Teaching, playing, and sharing the word with children is something I really enjoy. I love to work and do manual labor (I know weird) and have gone on other work oriented missions to Mexico and places around Texas. I think that this mission is the perfect opportunity to take the next step in missioning.

I absolutely love worship. Singing, dancing, shouting whatever it is. It may not be the best sounding, but it's a joyous noise for sure.

I can't wait to meet all ya'll! It'll be intense, but so fun!
